What is the Blog and Retire case study?

What’s in It and What Did I Do?

In Week 39 of Blog and Retire, I give two free software resources that will help anyone create better videos, and do other cool personal things for you with your music and videos. Obviously the secret must remain for paying subscribers only, but that’s how awesome it is to be a member of Blog and Retire. For just one low fee, you become a lifetime member with access to everything you get in Blog and Retire forever. Not only that, but you get to try Week 1 for free to see if it’s a direction you even want to go.

In Week 28 and Week 29 I introduce Blog and Retire subscribers to DailyMotion and Vimeo which are two other video sites besides YouTube. Now with Week 39, you’ll have some extra resources that may come in handy making those videos.

Not only that, but even if you post a gig on Fiverr, you should put a video up as well, so Week 39 will help you with things like that as well, if nothing else, indirectly.

This week, I wrote blog posts, got guest posts, got a sponsored post, commented on other blogs, and did a lot of Twitter interaction.

On Tuesday I was contacted by an online coupon company and they are going to give a $25 Home Depot Giftcard to one lucky winner on my blog, so I published a post yesterday with the giveaway, which lasts for one week, so hopefully that will get me more traffic.

Not only that, but today I’m co-hosting a link party, so I should also get more traffic from that. This all couldn’t come at a better time, as August stats are not as high as July was.

Case Study Blog Stats

This week I uploaded 20 blog posts to StumbleUpon and that seemed to help bring a bit more traffic, so I will continue to add more posts to StumbleUpon next week as well. We have just over a week to go this month. Here are the house stats for August so far:

  • Unique Visitors: 4,225
  • Number of Visits: 9,590
