How to Maximize Your Investment with Google AdWords to Get More Traffic [INFOGRAPHIC]

I am all about getting free traffic to your blog or website. However, sometimes you just want to get lots of traffic quickly without having to put in a lot of work. Because let’s face it, free traffic takes time/work. So you have two choices. You’re either going to invest time or money into your blog or online business, or maybe a bit of both (that’s what I do).

One way to get paid traffic is to use Google AdWords. It may be confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s really simple. But many businesses have been going about it the wrong way. You really need to bid what’s fair, and don’t go over what your keyword(s) is worth.

So check out this handy infographic below which will help you better understand how you should invest the money you spend on adwords.

  1. The info graphics are awesome. I have observed that for people who have anything to sell, then adwords is good for them. The conversion rates are good.

Hi Nikhil, Thanks for that tidbit. I myself have only used adwords a couple times just to experiment, but I haven’t really gotten into it much. I would imagine it would be better for selling products rather than just trying to get traffic to a blog or something. If you want traffic to a blog, it’s probably better to try to build a loyal readership, rather than just trying to get random people to come to your blog.

Great infographic Lisha. With AdWords you have to be very careful because you can burn out money so easily. The good thing is that you can adjust all parameters in real time so you can see what’s working and what’s not. I think landing page is very important here, because it’s something that will determine will the visitors buy.

I agree that you will get better results and ROI with google adwords if everyone is sent to a landing page for a product, or even an email subscription. Like I said to Nikhil, it’s probably not the best route just to get people to go to your blog.
